Discussing his conditions for the first performance of [Anton] Rubinstein's opera [Nero] in Hamburg, saying that if it is to be given on 15 October Pollini's chorus must be convened before 1 September, that he will pay 150 Marks for the first performances that Rubinstein himself conducts, after that 5% of the evening's revenues, adding that he does not ordinarily pay any additional fees for the score since it has long been understood that the composer provides his own, etc.
